What is an Athletic Trainer?
An Athletic Trainer works predominately with athletes and other physically active people, to recognize and prevent injuries as a result of physical and sports activities. An Athletic Trainer helps athletes and other active individuals manage and rehabilitate acute, sub-acute, and chronic injuries. Often, Athletic Trainers evaluate and recommend new techniques and/or equipment that assist in the recovery process.
Our licensed athletic trainers currently provide athletic event coverage to The Waterford School in Sandy, UT. The Waterford School is a private school that entails preschool through high school. The upper school (high school) has many competitive athletic teams including: men’s and women’s soccer, lacrosse, basketball, tennis, golf, cross-country, crew, and women’s volleyball.
If you are interested in having a licensed athletic trainer to cover your sporting event, please contact us using the Ask a Fast Track Team Member (link to that form on the contact page) form so we can help facilitate that coverage.
